ASSEMBLAGE is an artist-run center supporting research and creation in dance, music, film, theater, literature and fine arts.  We offer individualized artist residencies, collaborative group creations, and a diverse program of workshops and retreats focused on research, experimentation, and connection to nature.

Our main center contains a spacious dance studio with a sprung birchwood floor; a fully equipped music recording studio; multiple fine arts ateliers; a wood workshop; and a wide-ranging bilingual library. Overlooking Miellin, a small village nestled in the foothills of Les  Vosges mountains in eastern France, the center is surrounded by lush forests, rivers and lakes, and is accessible from Paris by direct train or from Basel in about one hour by car.

HOMEBASE

Our main office is located in the bustling Belleville neighborhood of Paris, where we host individualized residencies focused on artist development, project production and networking, connecting artists to collaborators, curators and presenters for the development and diffusion of their work.

HEADQUARTERS

All of our spaces are available for private events and short-term rentals. By staying or hosting your event at Assemblage, you are directly supporting our artist residency program, enabling us to offer sustainable conditions for creative work.
